I recently purchased a pair of the essential shorts and have been really happy with them overall. The material is soft, stretchy, and breathable, perfect for everything from gym sessions to running errands or lounging around the house. They offer a nice balance of compression and comfort without feeling too tight or restrictive.

The high waistband is one of my favorite features. It stays in place during movement and provides a flattering fit, giving good support around the midsection. No rolling or sliding down, even during more intense workouts.

Length-wise, they’re just right, not too short and not too long. They don’t ride up much, which is a huge bonus. The fabric is also thick enough that it’s not see-through, even in a deep squat.

After a few washes, they’ve held up well with no pilling or stretching out of shape. I’d definitely recommend these if you’re looking for a versatile, durable, and comfortable pair of black shorts for working out or everyday wear.
